BattShell – ‘Where’s my Batt’ Competition

Promotion Terms and Conditions

Eligibility: The competition is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years or older. Employees of BattShell and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
Entry period: The competition begins at 7am (AEST) on Monday 3rd April 2023 and ends at 5:30pm (AEST) on 31st July 2023.
How to enter: To enter, participants must prank a mate by hiding his power tool battery, recording the shenanigans, and uploading the video to social media with the hashtag @MyBattShell and #SheresMyBatt. By entering the competition, participants agree to allow BattShell to use their video for promotional purposes.
Judging: A panel of judges will evaluate the videos based on creativity, originality, and humour. The winner will be chosen based on the judges' criteria.
Prize: The winner will receive a prize package consisting of one Makita power tool valued up to $500AU. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Winner announcement: The winner will be announced on social media on Monday 14th August 2023. The winner will be contacted via the social media platform used to submit their entry.
Publicity: By entering the competition, participants agree to allow BattShell to use their name, likeness, and video for promotional purposes.
Limitations of liability: BattShell is not responsible for any damages or injuries that may occur as a result of participating in the competition or accepting the prize.
Disqualification: BattShell reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not comply with the rules or that are deemed inappropriate.
Modification or cancellation: BattShell reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time, for any reason.
Governing law: The competition is governed by the laws of Australia.
By participating in the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
